Permit Acquisition
Every exterior sign, ground-mounted or on a building will (with little exception) require a sign permit. A sign must meet local zoning codes and no two municipalities are the same. If a proposed sign does not meet the local sign, you have the option to appeal your request through the local planning or board of appeals. GenSign has many years of experience in permit acquisition.
Engineering
Certain signs susceptible to high wind loads may require a stamped engineering drawing as required by local building officials. We work with structural engineers who are licensed in every state in the US and specialize in sign engineering.
Leasing
If you’re starting a new business or expanding an existing one, leasing a sign offers you an opportunity to redirect your capital to inventory or other capital expenses. Rates are competitive and payments are taxed deductible.
